Warm Waistcoats on Christmas |

| My
father is an avid fisherman. Fishing is his hobby. Almost every weekend
he goes to catch fish with his best friend David. Of course they don’t
have success everytime, sometimes they come back without yield, but nevertheless
they prefer fishing to another kind of hobbies, as my father says the
most important is a process of it than a result. And on Christmas I decided
to present him a gift concerning with his hobby. First I wanted to present
him a fishing rod. But it was too much expensive, besides if he would
get a new fishing rod he would go fishing more often than now. So, I
decided to present him a warm vest. It was a good idea, because last
time when he went fishing he found out that his favorite warm vest was
torn by our dog Lucky. And he had to dress lightly. But it was cold and
windy. So when he came back home, he freezed and besides caught a cold.
After this case me and my mother try to look after him that he dresses
only warm clothes. Usually I can’t control myself. I wanted to say him what exactly I bought, but in the last moment I made an effort that to keep this secret till Christmas. But that awake his curiosity I gave him a little hint that this gift closely connected with his hobby. He was very excited; he thought it would a fishing rod, but he was mistaken. When the time to present gifts came and he opened the box, he saw that instead of fishing rod, there was a nice and warm vet. Of course he was disappointed a little, but tried not to show it. He said that he would glad to any gift, because it would present from his lovely daughter and especially he was glad that I take care of his health. Next time when he went fishing he wore my present. As it found out my present was very useful, because on this trip David – his best friend, caught a cold and my father didn’t. But I promised to myself that to the next Christmas I would save up some money and buy a fishing rod to my dear father. |
